I presume to know what it means to like eBay better than Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn combined.

Instagram would have been added to this list if only I had an account.

While motivation to share everyday moments may still befall me, the draw to pursue influencer status just hasn’t arrived as of yet.

eBay is one of those survivors of the 90s. I suppose I like companies that stand the test of stock market corrections over time.

I recently posted a bunch of old hardware kit on eBay and was pretty pleased that I was able to complete all of the listings by phone.

I’m finally with the cool kids when it comes to posting stuff from my mobile device.

Not a good texter, I surprised even myself by how easy it is to create a listing on eBay via the mobile app–the clunky fingering of the Samsung “keyboard” notwithstanding.

All this goes to show that you should never say never, and perhaps I shall look forward to Instagram when I retire, but retirement is blessedly nowhere in site.

That is, unless I find an agent who convinces me Instagram is something I need a presence on.

But, I digress and won’t hold my breath on that one.

I think there must be bad influencers and good influencers–and not just on Instagram, either.

For example, an older sibling may be a bad influence on a younger brother or sister.

Or, no one may want to be influenced by anyone, and so they would probably not be compelled to be on Instagram for that reason.

All this chatter completed, my participation in online communities will likely continue to be characterized by a heavy presence on eBay–not as an influencer but as a seller of some stuff that someone will make use of.

We all end up paring down at some point and eBay helps facilitate this.

Other stuff

Mosquitos are top of mind once again. It’s that time of year. I think we’re trying out a zapper soon and I’m hopeful it will be effective.

If I had the choice of eating three square meals or grazing all day, I’d like to switch to grazing all day–just to say I’ve done it.

Nibbling on this and that for the balance of 12 hours sounds pretty good to me.

I stare down guitars in stands yet never pick them up to play.

That was kind of like a mild tongue twister, but I guess that depends on who’s trying to speak the sentence.

Isn’t anyone who bats in Major League Baseball a designated hitter?

I don’t recall ever restarting a juke box because the record player froze.

Is it party cloudy or partly sunny? I vote partly sunny–always!

Is it just me or will you also stick with your dead-end, unable-to-upgrade-to-Windows 11, Windows 10 computer as long as you can, or will you switch soon to a computer that can run Windows 11?

If I waited until I felt good all over I’d never work out.

Ever wonder if I’d create a sequel to a post like this?

The answer is no because I’ve never had a request like that.

So, I know the comments section on posts here have recently opened again, but I just don’t want anyone to get any ideas.
