One of my least favorite allergy symptoms is fatigue.
Not allergy fatigue, however, which is an entirely different beast, I am talking about fatigue that is a result of having allergies.
Most everyone who has ever had seasonal allergies are tired of them.
And that includes me.
Ohio Valley allergies can actually make you feel tired.
Somehow, the runny nose, watery, itchy eyes, and sinus drainage are not as big a deal for me as is the fatigue side effect.
Good thing these allergies are only seasonal which means now they are acting up and wreaking havoc.
I guess that’s why spring used to be my favorite season until I grew up and into my seasonal allergies.
The sweeper
This is the new pitch Major League baseball pitchers are throwing.
It seems to be like another variation of the slurve (slider meets curve).
Instead of filthy, vertical directional ramifications for batters, the sweeper features more of a vexing, horizontal motion and movement.
To me, it appears a weak attempt for pitchers to regain the edge they lost when umpires started checking pitchers for foreign substances that could be applied to baseballs (on the down low, before throwing pitches to batters).
In any event it’s one more uninteresting development in the lives of millionaire major league ballplayers that I’ll not have extended interest in.
Plug-ins and Extensions
By extension a plug-in should be the same thing when it comes to software.
Unfortunately, they are not.
Sometimes, especially when in a web browser, you need an extension.
On the other hand, when you are in certain applications, plug-ins are required to experience enhanced functionality.
I know, it’s complicated, but many good things are.
Be the change you want to see
At this stage, I can only grow so much hair on my head.
What does grow, however, is fast-growing, if that makes any sense.
My nails also grow fast.
Personally, and if I could, I’d throttle back on the nail-growing in favor of increased hair-growing.
I’d also like to have long socks that can be rolled down to just below the ankle, and appear like regular ankle socks do.
Wait, I already have those kinds of socks; guess I just don’t like the thick ring of sock around my ankles (typed no one ever).
Fool me once bunny
We had a mama bunny last year that made a little den (nest) for her babies last year.
It was very sad when it did not turn out well, and the babies did not make it.
This year, mama bunny is back (or maybe it’s just another mama bunny); the den nest is just adjacent to where it was last year.
Last year’s mama bunny abandoned her babies.
Hoping this year, if it’s the same mama bunny, that she will not leave before all is well.
If it’s a newcomer mama bunny, please be sure to be there ,mama, for as long as the babies need you.

Can allergies put you in a good mood?
I think they can unintentionally.
If you have perspective, and can agree that all things are relative, if your biggest complaint is allergies, you have a pretty good life.
If you cannot get behind that, please try a decongestant or something that minimizes your symptoms.
Nobody likes a cranky pants.
